Giant has recently released two top end electric road bikes, the Giant ROAD-E+ 1 PRO and the Giant ROAD-E+ 2 . Both bike cost over £3000 in the UK and feature a Yamaha SyncDrive Sport motor, PedalPlus 4-sensor technology and RideControl command center, all integrated with a sporty ALUXX SL frameset. The battery is a Giant EnergyPak500 lithium-ion battery.

The Giant ROAD-E+ 1 PRO has a Shimano Ultegra groupset and Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes whilt the ROAD-E+ 2 PRO utilises Shimano’s 105 groupset and Shimano 505 disc brakes.

Both bikes  have a ALUXX SL Aluminum Technology frame made predominantly from 6011 alloy which delivers  a best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for a high-performance ride quality.

The bikes use Giant’s Hybrid Cycling Technology which includes the RideControl EVO system . This is a handlebar-mounted command center allowing the user to adjust riding modes and view important data including speed, distance and battery level.

The battery used is Giant EnergyPak which  are made with the latest Lithium-ion battery technology. . The batteries come in 300Wh, 400Wh and 500Wh packages.
