A great day out.
The weather was very crispy and very clear as we rode our electric bikes on the back roads through Harpur Hill, then Earl Sterndale and found ourselves on the track that leads from the side of High Wheeldon to the Royal Oak.
We stopped at the Royal Oak Hurdlow, where the food was so good and the log fire was so welcoming to us on a cold but bright day.
After a big and delicious lunch by a hot fire we were ready to head to make our way back. We chose to go along the small roads towards Grin Low and came back into Buxton down the A53 with the winter sunlight fading over the glorious Derbyshire hills.
