The Carrera Crossfuse E women’s electric bike, sold by Halfords is a hybrid bike designed for gentle trails and road riding which also makes it an ideal commuter bike. The 400Wh Bosch Powerpack battery gives a range of up to 80 miles. Paired with a Bosch Active Line centre drive motor and a torque sensor it provides natural pedal assistance when needed.
The Crossfuse uses Shimano’s Alvio 9-speed gears and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear. The front forks are Suntour NEX HLO forks with 66mm of travel ensure ultimate comfort, while large 700c wheels with Schwalbe Tyrago KG tyres complete an all-round package.

The Carrera Crossfuse E features a top of the range Bosch Active Line, Centre Drive motor. The motor positioning around the bottom bracket ensures the weight is kept low and central. Motor power is utilised using a premium Torque sensor, which adjusts the power in response to your input.
Head-Unit:
The control unit is made by Bosch. This allows 4 assistance modes, as well as speed, range and mileage data.
Battery:
The 400Wh Bosch Li-Ion Power Pack is mounted to the down-tube meaning weight is kept central on the Crossfuse to provide very similar ride characteristics as the non-electric equivalent bike. The Crossfuse has a range of up to 80km depending on the power levels used and the terrain.The battery re-charges in 6.5 hours.
