Brompton have the format for a ’48 invitational race, taking place on Thursday 14th June at the P&P World Cycling Revival. The competition will comprise of 48 riders taking part in 2 elimination-style heats, the victorious 24 riders from those heats will then battle it out in the final for a grand prize of £10,048, an amount greater than the 1st place winner of any elite UCI World Championship Road race would win.
Entrants can only be invited personally by Brompton and these will be joined by David Millar, ) is former professional cyclist. Each rider will compete on the CHPT3 Brompton bike. The CHPT3 features special edition colours, titanium componentry, ergon grips, special edition Kojak Schwalbe Tan-wall tyres and a unique Brooks saddle.
A limited number of places in this exclusive race, will be left open for entrants who think they should be in with a chance of winning the £10,048 cash prize.
