The business guru and Apprentice guy say’s he covered 20 miles on his electric road bike eight weeks after a knee replacement procedure.
When he isn’t firing hapless contestants on The Apprentice TV show, he’s been known to enjoy going out for a bike ride every so often. Most recently he’s been using his Pinarello e-bike to get himself back to full fitness following the operation.
He says, 8 weeks after my knee replacement i was back on the bike and did 20 miles today. Next target is to shed 20 lbs from from my protruding stomach,
Followers of the 72-year-old businessman on Twitter have praised him for getting back on the bike so soon after a major operation, and presumably an e-bike is perfect for allowing Lord Sugar to exercise without putting much stress on his joints when facing steep inclines – he has been known to ride a non-assisted Pinarello Dogma with custom frame paint jobs in the past.
Lord Sugar says he did 20 miles on the Nytro, and now wants to shed 20lbs from his “protruding belly”; back in May he also shared a photo taking delivery of a Corratec LifeS AP5 e-bike to zip along the waterfront in Palma, Majorca.
